Every dollar of clothing sales at GREATER THAN Christian Clothing already funds our free worship and ministry nights in Toronto. That has been true from the beginning.
Donations are on top of that.
And they arrive intact. We use Zeffy, which charges no platform fee — so one hundred percent of what you give reaches the ministry. Nothing is skimmed off for processing on the way through.

Why we're asking
The nights are free. They are not free to run.
A room has to be booked. Sound and production have to be paid for and set up. The team that makes a night happen — worship, tech, prayer, setup and teardown — has to be resourced. Every person who walks in and pays nothing walks into something that somebody paid for.
That's the whole ask. Free at the door, funded behind the door.
General Fund
The General Fund covers our ministry expenses and the finances to run the ministry's normal activities — including the worship nights themselves.
This is the fund that keeps the lights on and the doors open, month to month.
Building Fund
We are looking for a permanent home, and we need one urgently.
Right now our rhythm is set by what room we can book. A building changes that completely:
- We could gather more frequently — not just when a venue is available
- Rooms for a proper children's ministry, which we don't currently have
- Prayer gatherings through the week
- Pop-in acoustic worship sets during the week, so that there is somewhere in this city a person can simply walk into and pray, or sit, or worship — somewhere safe and peaceful, on an ordinary Tuesday
And a great deal more besides. A building isn't a line item for us. It's the difference between a ministry that meets and a ministry that's there.
